Sub surface drip irrigation systems combine the latest drip irrigation technology with drip emitters attached to the safely buried driplines in the most biologically active layers of the soils. Root intrusion, the most important issue when burying water emission devices is overcome by being specially moulded with a slow release non toxic inhibitor that stops plant root growth around the emitter. This protection is critical to the long term reliability of the system.
