Margaret River - Centrifugal Pump Solution
Problem
Upgrade needed at the Margaret River Waste Water Treatment Plant to handle future growth
Solution
Centrifugal pump solution with automatic gravel filters, multiple mainlines and controller system.
Outcome
Working closely with the Margaret River Waste Water Treatment Plant, Total Eden was involved in the recent treatment plant upgrade. The outcome was a solution involving the commissioning of four 55kW end suction centrifugal pump units, automatic gravel filters, multiple mainlines and a Motorola® control system to field valves.
The commissioning activities also included fibre-optic cable communications and SCADA protocol. The end result is a Waste Water Treatment Plant able to handle future urban growth.

Northern Victoria Irrigation Renewal Project (NVIRP) Goulburn – Murray District VIC
Problem
Water wastage is reducing the amount of water allocated to farmers using irrigation. The NVIRP is working to protect and enhance the environment through a modernisation program in the Goulburn Murray irrigation district
Solution
Part of the renewal program has included the replacedment of 25 Dethridge water-wheels with magnetic flow metres.
Outcome
Total Eden has worked together with Transfield Services who are the project managers of the NVIRP for the replacement of 25 Dethridge water-wheels with magnetic flow metres.
In addition to meeting all environmental legislative requirements, NVIRP is also working to capture water savings that can be released to the environment where and when they are needed most. Stage 1 of the NVIRP will implement water distribution and delivery efficiency improvements by 2012-13 and is projected to deliver an estimated 225 gigalitres (long-term annual average) of water savings by 2013-14.
Water savings will be generated progressively over the term of the project as a result of the works implemented by NVIRP. (Source: http://www.nvirp.com.au/).For more information on the NVIRP visit www.nvirp.com.au
